P5/6 English March Holiday Programme

This March Holiday Intensive Programme equips Primary 5 / 6 students with a focused boost across key PSLE English components. Structured as a high-impact 5-lesson series, the programme strengthens oral confidence, sharpens writing precision, and consolidates Paper 2 mastery. Each lesson blends systematic skill-building with examination-focused strategies to help students build momentum before Term 2.

Lesson 1 – Oral Communication

Students begin by strengthening the Oral component through intensive practice in Reading Aloud and Stimulus-Based Conversation. The session focuses on tone, pacing, articulation, and structured response techniques. Students are taught Think Teach’s proven conversation frameworks to organise ideas clearly, extend answers confidently, and handle any stimulus with clarity and composure — essential for PSLE performance.

Lesson 2 – Oral & Situational Writing

This lesson continues refining Oral skills while introducing Situational Writing, a key scoring section of Paper 1. Lessons cover advanced Grammar MCQ concepts, refine Synthesis & Transformation techniques, and strengthen Comprehension Open-Ended answering strategies using PSLE-style passages. Lesson 5 – Composition Writing

The programme concludes with an intensive session on Continuous Writing (Composition).
